Grammar TEC are pleased to announce an exciting coaching appointment of Nooroa Tokahere, joining fellow AGS old boy Ant Strachan and MAGS legend Bruce Birtwistle to complete what will be fantastic set up for 2020.

A well known figure on the Auckland scene, Nooroa will bring a new approach to the Grammar set piece and is sure to turn the heat up with the new team. Nooroa arrives on the back of a strong run with Papatoetoe Rugby and credits the mentoring he received from rugby stalwarts Luke Mealamu and Geoff Moon, both influential on Nooroa’s growth and development in the coaching arena.

GTEC Premier coach Ant Strachan says “Noors brings experience and expertise not only in the specialist front area but also coaching at Premier level.”

The GTEC community are stoked to have his services. Nooroa says he is grateful for the opportunity. “Change is always good and with it comes new challenges. Really looking forward to getting stuck into work and creating some great memories with the team."
