u21's v University Sir Wilson Whineray & John Drake

Two of Aucklands best clubs go head to head with important silverware on the line in the Under 21s grade.

Currently sitting at the top of the table the team will be keen to preload the trophy cabinet.

Undefeated, the home side will be looking to get the edge up front given the weeks weather conditions.

Young Tomu Lakalaka out of @aorerecollege recently converted to the front row will be looking forward to locking horns with a few familiar faces and coach @josh_hansen4 has had nothing but praise for the young prop.

“Tomu has come leaps and bounds since making the transition and with his high work rate is the perfect addition to a very strong front row”

Says coach Hansen who himself has made the most in his own transition from GTEC Premier lock to the coaching box.

@lukeaiken_ and @montyparkinsonn run the cutter with 2024 stand out @caleb.woodleyy leading the pack.

Look to young @mataora.lotirapana fresh out of @onehungahighschool to roll the sleeves up and deliver another brutal, physical performance up front.

@jago.birley after a couple outings with the topside, returns at fullback and has already added to the team at this weeks trainings.

“Jago is gold for us and everytime he gets the chance to share learnings, like all our club boys,we work and learn to get better each day ”

Although Varsity have had a couple rough results we know here at Orakei Domain that any derby with our long time opponent, the form book@means nothing come kick off.”

Head down to Orakei Domain and catch our boys in action.
