We are delighted to announce that Orakei Marine are coming on board as the major sponsor of the Grammar TEC Juniors.

This is a great story of a local family and a local business getting behind and supporting their local community rugby club.

The Snashall families connection with the Grammar TEC Rugby club extends all the way back to the first GTEC Juniors under 6’s rugby team, coached back then, by Karl Pokino, back in 2015. This was the year the Snashall twins, Jacob and Summer, both started playing rugby for the club.

Jason soon became Team Manager and then went onto coaching Summer and Jacobs team up until last year when Jacob and Summer became the first GTEC Juniors to play all the way through to the Under 13 team.

The Snashall’s passion for rugby was contagious, as their youngest daughter Sam Snashall wasn’t on the side line for long, she started playing for the GTEC under 6’s in 2017 at the age of 5. She is still playing for the club today with Sarah managing her Under 10 team and Jason helping out being an assistant coach.

Jason and Sarah’s company ‘Orakei Marine’ have been sponsoring the GTEC Juniors since 2017, and are excited this year to sign up for a three year sponsorship agreement to be the main sponsor for the GTEC Juniors. Jason and Sarah love supporting their local club and think it’s a great fit and synergy for both parties.

“Our favourite part of the weekend in winter is standing on the side line cheering on our kids teams, rugby is such a great team building sport, and such a big part of growing up in NZ, we want to see the GTEC Junior membership thrive in the future!”

As you can see the Snashall’s family enthusiasm and desire to find ways to be involved with the junior club in any way possible, makes this partnership special.
